New five-screen cinema opens in Didcot

A brand new five-screen state of the art cinema has opened in Didcot giving residents and visitors the opportunity to see a wide range of films including the latest blockbusters, classic and art films.

The cinema is located beside the town's retail centre the 'Orchard Centre' and features revolutionary designed luxury seating and a state of the art sound system. It has over 900 seats spread across five different sized screen auditoria, each seating between 120 and 260 people.

Built by South Oxfordshire District Council as part of their £30million investment in the town centre, the cinema is operated by Cineworld who have 73 cinemas across the UK.

Cineworld will be offering their exclusive 'unlimited card', which allows the cardholder to see as many films as they like, at any time, in any of their cinemas for just £10.99 a month for a year.

A number of special, regular features and clubs including 'Movies for Juniors Saturday Kids club', which offers games and a film for just £1 will also be on offer.
