Family fun in South Oxfordshire isn't all about the countryside. There are numerous activities available for when the sun sets, the rain falls, or you quite like the idea of someone else entertaining the children for a few hours.

See a pantomime or show at the Kenton Theatre in Henley, the Corn Exchange in Wallingford and the Players Theatre in Thame.

You can catch the latest films at Didcot's new five-screen cinema, at the Regal Picturehouse in Henley or at the Corn Exchange in Wallingford.

For something creative, take the children to the Kiln Café in Henley where they can decorate their own ceramic plates and cups, or to the River and Rowing Museum which regularly holds workshops especially for children.

For the energetic amongst you, visit Jamboray and Whizz Kids - the indoor play centres in Henley and Thame. South Oxfordshire also has three leisure centres, all with swimming pools. Try Didcot swimming pool for its wave machine!
