Selling the benefits of South OxfordshireFrench Jones was chosen by South Oxfordshire District Council to undertake a two-year marketing campaign designed to increase the number of tourists visiting the area. It focuses on South Oxfordshire’s four main towns, which are Didcot, Henley, Thame and Wallingford, and includes media relations and the launch of a new web site. The area’s visitor attractions include Henley’s River and Rowing Museum, Didcot Railway Centre, Henley’s annual Music and Arts Festival and historic houses such as Stonor Park. |
"This campaign sends out the message that there are many reasons for staying longer and enjoying more of the area’s facilities," said South Oxfordshire’s communications manager Shona Parsons. "It also highlights the opportunities for special interest groups such as corporate conference organisers, ramblers, cyclists, historians, lovers of the river and those who simply want to enjoy a fine meal and comfortable bed." |
