Going Underground

The Minosus underground hazardous waste disposal facility is the first of its kind in the United Kingdom.

French Jones was called in to design a user friendly website supplying information to prospective clients about waste suitability, storage and detailed safety guidelines.

This website was launched prior to storage operations starting in the disused salt mine in Windsford, Cheshire.

Roger Shaw, managing director at Minosus, puts the subsequent success of the website down to French Jones’ attention to detail and open dialogue with the client on all aspects of the project.

French Jones also designed and produced a six page ‘Handling Waste’ user guide with insert cards to complement the website.
