South Oxfordshire District Council
South Oxfordshire District Council has taken the decision
that it will no longer fund tourist information centres because it does
not consider them cost effective, preferring instead to provide finance
for the planned marketing of tourism. Central to this is the need to
develop a strong visual identity for the district. French Jones has
achieved this by taking a typographic approach that resulted in the
production of a flexible and simple solution. |
The identity has been rolled out across the new
South Oxfordshire tourism website and supporting marketing literature,
including the recently published A guide to South Oxfordshire. Further
theme-based publications will follow over the next two years, building
on the strong branding foundations.
